Shaping Financially Confident Teens

During the August school holidays, many young people have extra time on their hands. What better moment to help them build a skill that will serve them for a lifetime? Money management is something most of us had to figure out the hard way, and guiding teens early can make a world of difference in their future choices.

We’re opening up our Financial Literacy for Teens Workshop to young people aged 12 to 17 on Thursday, 13th August 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Nairobi Securities Exchange. The session will break down budgeting, saving, smart spending, and the basics of investing in a way that feels fun, practical, and relatable.

Whether your teen is already handling pocket money, experimenting with small business ideas, or just showing interest in how money works, this workshop will give them a solid foundation. Being taught right at the NSE trading floor brings the world of finance to life and makes the experience memorable.

Let’s empower the next generation with the knowledge and confidence to make smarter financial decisions, because starting early sets them up for success.
