1. The NSE Yield Curve has returned to a normal shape, with a steep upward slope in the short term, flattening in the mid-term, and a gradual rise in the long term.

2. Treasury bills have remained undersubscribed for four consecutive weeks.
This week, CBK Kenya offered Ksh 24 billion but received bids worth Ksh 15.69 billion, accepting Ksh 15.68 billion.
The 91-day treasury bill interest rate stood at 9.82%.

3. The December 2024 inflation rate came in at 3.0%, showing a slight increase from the 2.8% recorded in November 2024.

4. The 2025 NCBA Kenya Invitational Junior Golf Tournament kicked off this weekend at Windsor Golf Hotel & Country Club. Over 116 junior golfers from Kenya and beyond are competing for glory and global opportunities. #NCBAGolfSeries #Goforit


5. StanChart announced that Dr. Catherine Adeya retired as an Independent Non-Executive Director, while Ms. Julie Browne resigned as a Non-Executive Director, both effective December 31, 2024.

6. The Nairobi Securities Exchange closed 2024 on a strong performance. The NSE’s 20-share index rose by 33.94% to reach 2010.65, while the NASI increased by 34.06% to close at 123.48.

7. FTG Holdings Ltd announced the appointment of St Lawrence Management Limited as the new Company Secretary, effective 30th August 2024. The company also welcomes Mr. Deven Auracootee and Mr. Bachun (Bob) Bishwarnath to the Board of Directors.


8. Nairobi Business Ventures reported a loss after tax of Ksh 84.29 million for the six months ending September 30, 2024, down from a profit of Ksh 32.25 million last year, due to economic challenges, VAT issues, and rising costs. No dividend was declared for the period.
